Picture of the Week: The Maldives

This week my Picture of the Week is from the Maldives.

I spent two weeks on the North-Malé-Atoll of the Maldives. The Maldives are an insular state by the way not far from India. They contain several atolls and round 1,200 islands. 87 islands are for tourists and usually each hotel serves an island on its own. Far from civilisation you can relax here and enjoy the warm sea water.
