Bright Sunshine and Gloriously Blue Sky in Atlanta

I think there’s no better weather than bright sunshine and an intensively blue sky. The rather shallowly light blue sky in Germany is just as annoying as these grey clouds you’ll find in German skies too often. Therefore here’s a real good spirit picture as a contrast to the everlasting grey sky in Germany – like seen today.

Gorgeous weather in Downtown Atlanta.

On the left side of the picture is the SunTrust Plaza, the second highest building of the city, with its 869 feet (265 meters) and 60 stories in total. The skyscraper in the middle is the 191 Peachtree Tower with 771 feet (235 meters) the fourth highest building of the city. On its right side you can see the round Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel. High above you can have dinner at the Sun Dial Restaurant and Bar, and as this is a revolving restaurant you’ll get a wonderful though not so cheap view over Downtown at the same time.

Does the skyline look familiar to you? Well, that’s quite possible because maybe you have seen The Hunger Games, Insurgent or some episodes of The Walking Dead before. These and many more TV-productions are and have been shot in Atlanta.
